Minister for Municipal Administration and City Improvement A. Suresh has stated that the federal government is dedicated to the uplift of the Dalits.

Equally, for the welfare of the STs, whereas the earlier authorities had spent ₹12,487 crore throughout its time period, the YSRCP authorities had to date spent ₹15,589 crore, he stated.
