Officers from Andhra College have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nationwide Centre for Coastal Analysis (NCCR), Ministry of Earth Sciences, Authorities of India, to setup a analysis laboratory within the Division of Zoology.

AU Vice-Chancellor P.V.G.D. Prasad Reddy stated that the proposed lab is linked to the venture sanctioned to Prof P Janakiram, Division of Marine Dwelling Assets on “In-situ water high quality monitoring, information assortment and evaluation of automated buoy system for Visakhapatnam coast, Andhra Pradesh”. The laboratory will cater to the wants of researchers, college students and college members of Andhra College, he stated. The NCCR analysis laboratory additionally offers coaching to college students, conducts seminars and workshops, he stated.
