Our readers are aware that Vasireddy Padma recently served a Notice to Janasena President Pawan Kalyan about his comment on Volunteers behind missing women in Andhra Pradesh. The merits of the comment are already discussed but there is an unexpected twist to Vasireddy Padma itself.

Andhrajyothy published a story saying that her tenure is already completed.

She was appointed as the Women’s Commission chairperson in 2019. Initially, her tenure was announced as five years but later, the government reduced it to two years via a gazette on April 24th.

That means Vasireddy has become the former chairperson from May 15th.

Jagan Government like all the G.O.s did not divulge this one to the public and so no one knows that her tenure is completed. But the real question is if Vasireddy Padma is also not aware.

She is continuing Pressmeets, Notices, participating in meetings, etc despite being the former chairperson. If she got an extension, that is also not revealed to the public.

The Government should give clarity about it.
