A terrible incident took place in Visakhapatnam. The killing of an old woman by a village volunteer in Sujatanagar under Pendurthi constituency has created a sensation. Venkatesh works as a volunteer in Ward 95, Purushottapuram. The murdered old lady was working part-time in the shop run by Varalakshmi for some time. At around 10.30 pm, Venkatesh killed the old woman in the house. Locals immediately informed the police. Pendurthi police and Clues team immediately reached the spot and collected evidence. Clues team gathered evidence that volunteer Venkatesh killed Adimi with a pillow on his face. The accused killed the old woman and took away the gold on her stool.

The body was taken to a local hospital for postmortem. It was found in the CCTV footage that the accused entered the apartment where the old woman was staying and left at night. On the basis of CCTV footage, the police have launched a manhunt to nab the accused. Full details regarding this incident are yet to be known.

On the other hand, near Rushikonda on Visakha beach road, a tourist boat accidentally overturned due to the impact of waves. The incident took place during a beach excursion with visitors. The incident took place 150 meters away from the beach. The driver and two others were in the boat when the accident occurred. It is said that the accident happened due to the speed boat and at the same time the wave was blowing up. Tourists put on life jackets and two escaped safely. When people on the shore noticed the incident, Rushikonda marine police, fishermen and life guards immediately went into the sea in another boat and rescued the tourists. The stricken boat was brought to the shore with ropes.
