BRO is one of the most awaited films in Telugu cinema as Sai Dharam Tej is teaming up with his superstar uncle, Pawan Kalyan for the first time in his career. The fantasy drama is all set to hit the screens on July 28, 2023, and is directed by Samuthirakani. BRO is the official remake of the Tamil hit Vinodhaya Sitham which was also helmed by Samutirakani.

The film has a screenplay and dialogues by Trivikram Srinivas and the music has been composed by Thaman. Well, the makers released the first single, My Dear Markandeya much to the delight of the fans. The video showcased both Sai Dharam Tej and Pawan Kalyan burning the dance floor with positive energy.

A section of the listeners loved the song but the general audience and fans are not at all happy with Thaman’s composition. They feel that the song is not up to the mark and could have been a lot better. A number of negative comments are being posted on social media slamming Thaman’s work. The star music director has been hyping this project from day one and now that the time has come to prove, Thaman has given a very ordinary number feel the ardent fans of Pawan Kalyan.

Some of the fans also commented that the song is not picturized well and Pawan Kalyan did not have much to do in terms of screen presence. Thaman has been in the news for all the wrong reasons these days as news came out that he was ousted from Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram as the star hero did not like the tunes which Thaman composed. But the makers requested Mahesh and Thaman be brought back on board.

Now that the first single has not given the desired response, Thaman is under a lot of pressure to deliver. We need to see how he will compose the other songs in BRO and win the hearts of mega fans. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
