Notably, it also made history by securing the first-ever Academy Award for Best Original Song for an Indian film, with composer M.M. Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose receiving the honors earlier this year. At the national film awards, “RRR” was showered with six awards, including Best Feature Film for Providing Wholesome Entertainment, Best Action Choreography, Best Dance Choreography, Best Special Effects, Best Background Score, and Best Male Playback Singer. Pushpa – The Rise: An Outstanding Achievement

“Pushpa – The Rise,” an action thriller directed by Sukumar, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, delivers a gritty narrative of a red sanders smuggler’s rise to power in the forest mafia. The film was lauded for its realistic portrayal of the rural backdrop, the intense performances of the lead actors, and the melodious music by Devi Sri Prasad. Allu Arjun etched his name in history as the first actor from Telugu cinema to win the award for Best Actor (male) at the national film awards[^4^]. In his acceptance speech, he dedicated the award to his fans and his father, producer Allu Aravind. “Pushpa – The Rise” further clinched two more awards for Best Music and Best Lyricist.

Uppena: A Surprise Sensation

The romantic drama “Uppena,” directed by debutant Buchi Babu Sana and featuring newcomers Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty, turned out to be a delightful surprise, shedding light on the sensitive issue of caste-based violence.
