The recently released “India Real Estate Vision 2047” report by Knight Frank ranks Somajiguda second in India’s high street rankings, highlighting the city’s retail real estate influence.

Hyderabad secured five spots among the top 30 high-street markets, including Somajiguda, Gachibowli, Ameerpet, Banjara Hills, and Jubilee Hills. Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills are evolving from residential areas to multifaceted districts.

Ameerpet, known for coaching centers, blends nostalgia with modern shopping. Somajiguda’s second position follows Bengaluru’s MG Road, while Linking Road in Mumbai, Delhi’s South Extension – I & II, and Kolkata’s Park and Camac Street top the list.

Hyderabad’s success is attributed to accessibility, parking, amenities, visibility, and consumer spending capacity.

Knight Frank’s report reveals that 30 high streets across eight cities account for 13.2 million square feet of retail space, with 5.7 million dedicated to modern retail.
