It states that Indian Training System is the most important on this planet with about 14.9 lakh faculties, 95 lecturers and almost 26.5 crore college students who’re from varied socio-economic background. Division of College Training and Literacy, Ministry of Training launched the PGI to present insights on the efficiency and achievements on the success of faculty training.
The division has to date launched the Efficiency Grading Index report for the yr 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20 and now 2020-21. The PGI is split into ten grades beginning with the Highest Degree which is Grade 1 for states that rating 950 out of 1000 factors and the bottom is Grade 10 for states which rating 551. This index helps the system of training and the faculties to make them conscious of the gaps and accordingly fill these gaps to make sure the system is strong at each degree.
