In a tragic incident in Hyderabad, a software employee named Kundeti Ramashekar (name changed), who had lost his job, brutally murdered his eight-year-old daughter Swapna (name changed), as an act of revenge against his estranged wife.

Ramashekar picked up his daughter from school and killed her by slitting her throat with a blade in his car. This horrifying act was discovered when his car crashed, and passersby found Swapna in a pool of blood.

Ramashekar had been fired from his job at the same IT company where his wife worked, and he blamed her for his dismissal. He had been frequently fighting with her, and she had moved with their daughter to her parent’s house four months prior. The motive behind the gruesome act was his jealousy and desire to make his wife suffer.

After picking up Swapna, he questioned her about her mother’s behavior and, upon receiving an unsatisfactory response, killed her. He planned to dispose of the body and possibly end his own life but was caught when his car crashed on Outer Ring Road.

Ramashekar has been arrested and faces legal proceedings, with investigations ongoing to determine if the crash was intentional to cover up the murder as an accident.
