Synopsis:
“Mad” introduces Narne Nithin as the protagonist in this comedy entertainer, where he shares the screen with Ram Nithin and Sangeeth Shobhan. The film revolves around a group of engineering college students – Ashok, Manoj, and Damodar. While Ashok is introverted and reserved, he falls for Jenny (Anantik Sanil Kumar). Manoj, on the other hand, flirts openly with Shruti (Sri Gouri Priya Reddy), a girl he admires. However, things take a twist when Damodar, who had been expressing his love for an unknown girl, reveals her identity through a letter. The plot follows the boys’ interactions with their love interests and the challenges they face.

Review:
“Mad” draws inspiration from college-based comedies like “Happy Days” and “3 Idiots,” aiming to deliver a comedy-centric film with a youthful vibe. The film successfully incorporates humor and maintains a light-hearted tone throughout.

In his debut as the lead hero, Narne Nithin impresses with his screen presence and action sequences. Sangeeth Shobhan delivers an exceptional performance with impeccable timing in his comic scenes. Among the female cast, Gouri Priya Reddy stands out, and her character receives ample screen time.

The music by Bhims Ceceroleo and the background score seamlessly complement the storyline, enhancing the overall viewing experience. The cinematography adds a visually appealing dimension to the film. However, there is room for improvement in the production values.

“Mad” opts for a more comedic approach, sometimes at the expense of a deeper storyline. While the humor is entertaining, it could have been consistently executed, and certain clichés and stereotypes could have been avoided.

In summary, “Mad” primarily aims to entertain and succeeds in delivering moments of genuine humor. However, it falls short in terms of a substantial storyline. This youthful entertainer offers a good dose of laughter and should appeal to those seeking a fun-filled, lighthearted cinematic experience.
