The Forest Division has begun an inquiry into the explanations and circumstances that led to the loss of life of a one-year-old Leopard in Kosigi Mandal of the district on Tuesday, it was laid to relaxation on Wednesday after due process.

Kurnool District Forest Officer P. Siva Sankara Reddy informed The Hindu that the leopard was discovered useless by the villagers in a spot between Duddi and Vandagal villages in Kosigi Mandal and it had no bodily accidents on its physique, which was elevating doubts over its loss of life.
