Pawan Kalyan has taken a new stance on alliances in Andhra Pradesh state. He emphasized that there is still ample time to consider forming alliances. 

Pawan Kalyan has long maintained that opposition to the Jagan government cannot be divided, and it requires all opposition parties to unite. But now, the decision on going alone or together can be discussed later, according to him. 

Political observers are surprised by Pawan Kalyan’s sudden change of opinion towards facing Jaganmohan Reddy along with CBN. 

In the preparatory meeting for the second phase of the Varahi Yatra yesterday, some suggest that intense pressure from the Kapu caste may have influenced Pawan’s statements.

For many years, Pawan Kalyan has hoped that his party would secure more seats by forming an alliance with TDP. This was the reason behind his support for Chandrababu Naidu. 

After the Varahi Yatra held in the Godavari district last month, there was a shift in the confidence of Janasena party leaders. 

Party sources believe that people are attending Pawan Kalyan’s meetings in large numbers. They view making alliances at this time as detrimental to Jana Sena. 

The party leaders are excited about contesting without alliances, focusing on the Godavari districts and other constituencies with a significant Kapu population, aiming for 30 to 40 seats. 

They aspire for their party to rise to a level where they can become a power center to form a coalition government rather than relying on alliances and becoming subservient to Telugu Desam.

Due to the pressure exerted by many party and Kapu clan leaders, it is reported that Pawan Kalyan is reconsidering the matter of alliances. 

Unable to withstand the pressure, he stated, “Let’s think later whether we should go together or alone,” indicating that he is being pushed in various directions.
