In the film industry, Kalki 2898AD is shaping up to be a mega Tollywood movie set for the future. It stars the widely recognized actor Prabhas and is helmed by director Nag Ashwin, featuring Deepika Padukone as the female lead.

Recently, Nag Ashwin attended the VFX Summit 2023, starting in Hyderabad, where he revealed an intriguing thought about Kalki 2898AD. Initially, he aimed to complete the entire VFX work within India, inspired by the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Although the complete goal wasn’t reached, a substantial part of the movie’s VFX has already been done in India. Nag Ashwin also promised to ensure that all future VFX work for his upcoming projects will be done solely within the country.

This grand-scale production boasts a star-studded cast, including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Pasupathy, and others in significant roles. Vyjayanthi Movies is steering this colossal venture, with the musical score in the capable hands of Santhosh Narayanan.

The movie aims to push boundaries not only in its star power but also in its technical aspects, with a strong focus on enhancing the VFX industry within India while promising an enthralling cinematic experience.
