Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan commenced the third leg of the Varahi Yatra in Visakhapatnam on Thursday. Addressing party supporters at Jagadamba centre, the Janasenani asserted that he would fight until the YSRCP was defeated.

“Andhra Pradesh has been transformed into a hub for ganja. Uttarandhra has been turned into a dumping ground. This region is marred by polluting industries. Lands in Visakhapatnam have been seized, and government institution properties have been mortgaged. Centuries-old red mud dunes have been ravaged, and even Rushikonda has been devastated,” Pawan Kalyan expressed with indignation.

Pawan Kalyan reiterated his stance on addressing Jagan by his singular name. He pointed out that Jagan faces 36 criminal cases and has demonstrated over the past four years the consequences of electing such an individual as Chief Minister. “If Jagan is given another chance in 2024, Andhra Pradesh will face irreparable damage. Jagan is not a leader, but a businessman. He operates as a commission agent, amassing Rs 30,000 crores through the liquor business alone. Now, he is attempting to secure victory using the same money. Key positions and appointments have been disproportionately given to a specific community. When Janasena assumes power, we will ensure equal opportunities for all,” Pawan Kalyan emphasized.

Pawan Kalyan demanded that the government, which boasts of implementing schemes like Ammavodi, should explain why three lakh children have discontinued their education. He expressed deep concern over the government’s decision to mortgage valuable government properties in Visakhapatnam for Rs 25,000 crores.
