Amaravati: A minimum of 9 trains had been cancelled after a wagon of an NSG items prepare derailed close to Rajamahendravaram station in Andhra Pradesh’s East Godavari district on Wednesday morning.

Based on officers of South Central Railway, Vijayawada Division, the products prepare derailed on the primary line at Rajahmundry yard round 3 a.m. Following the incident, 9 9 trains needed to be cancelled, two others had been partially cancelled and one other prepare needed to be rescheduled.

Trains cancelled/ rescheduled: 

Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam, Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada, Guntur-Visakhapatnam, Visakhapatnam-Guntur, Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada, Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada-Guntur, Guntur-Vijayawada and Kakinada Port-Vijayawada have been cancelled.

The railway authorities additionally introduced partial cancellation of Kakinada Port-Vijayawada prepare between Kakinada city and Vijayawada. Vijayawada-Rajahmundry prepare has been partially cancelled between Tadepalligudem and Rajahmundry.

Vijayawada-Lingampalli prepare has been rescheduled by two hours.
