The bail petition of TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu in the Skill Development Corporation scam case was adjourned by the Andhra Pradesh ACB HighCourt on Thursday. The hearing was transferred to a vacation bench for further consideration.

Naidu’s legal team was informed by the Court that they were not inclined to grant him interim bail in this case. The interim bail request was denied, given that the Supreme Court had a similar stance on Naidu’s petition.

Additionally, the  HighCourt requested Chandrababu Naidu’s most recent medical reports to be submitted for review.

Meanwhile, the special ACB (Anti-Corruption Bureau) court extended Naidu’s judicial remand until November 1. During Naidu’s virtual appearance before the ACB court, Judge B S V Hima Bindu inquired about his health.

Naidu mentioned that he was not feeling well, and the Judge assured that she would examine his medical reports, noting that the  Court was also closely monitoring the situation.

The next hearing in the ACB court is scheduled for October 26.

Naidu had been arrested on September 9 on allegations of misappropriating funds from the Skill Development Corporation, which purportedly led to a loss of over Rs 300 crore to the state exchequer.
