Renowned actor Chandra Mohan has passed away, succumbing to a heart-related ailment.

The 82-year-old actor was undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad, where he breathed his last around 9:45 AM.

Closely related to the late K. Vishwanath Garu, Chandra Mohan embarked on his film journey with the debut film “Rangula Ratnam” in 1966. Throughout his illustrious career, he achieved success both as a lead actor and a versatile character artist.

Noteworthy films in which he left his mark include “Manasantha Nuvve,” “Sankarabaranam,” “Premante Idhera,” “Thammudu,” “Dookudu,” “Vasantham,” “7G Brindavan Colony,” “Desamuduru,” and “Dhee.”

Survived by his wife, Jalandhara, and two daughters, Chandra Mohan’s final rites are scheduled for Monday in Hyderabad.
