Former IAS PV Ramesh Reveals Hard Work Behind Amaravati!

Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu was the first chief minister of newly formed Andhra Pradesh. While his commitment to the state can never be questioned, retired IAS officer PV Ramesh has validated the same now.

“When the state was bifurcated, we had to work 20 hours a day for 82 days. After the 2014 election, KCR came to power in Telangana and Chandrababu came to power in AP. I then worked extensively with Chandrababu” Ramesh said.

The retired IAS officer stated “Chandrababu was very committed to the state. He had a detailed debriefing of the 14th finance commission, the post bifurcation financials, special category status and the special packages. He wanted a detailed assessment of the condition and act accordingly”.

Naidu was also extensively focused on developing the new capital of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati and his commitment to see a new state prosper was top tier.

Naidu’s main dream was obviously to develop an income-generating capital in Amaravati but the same was ridiculed and buried by the Jagan government later.
