Drivers of Clear Andhra Pradesh autos demand pay rise


The State committee of the Andhra Pradesh Municipal Staff and Workers Federation has urged the State authorities to lift the wage of drivers of Clear Andhra Pradesh (CLAP) autos along with their different calls for of provision of Workers’ Provident Fund (EPF) and Workers’ State Insurance coverage (ESI) to them.

They demand that the wage of auto drivers be elevated from ₹11,000 at current to ₹18,500, as per the present authorities orders.

At a gathering held in Vijayawada on October 6(Sunday), the federation’s State normal secretary Okay. Umamaheswara Rao mentioned that the municipal our bodies are offering ₹63,000 per auto, however the drivers are paid solely ₹11,000.

CLAP Auto Drivers’ Union leaders mentioned that they might launch an agitation if the federal government fails to answer their plea.
