Deputy Chief Minister and Endowments Minister Kottu Satyanarayana on Sunday launched paddy procurement within the current kharif season within the State at China Tadepalli village in West Godavari district.

In an interplay with the farmers after inaugurating Rythu Bharosa Kendra right here, Mr. Satyanarayana has mentioned that cost for the paddy procured can be made within the stipulated time. 

The State authorities is providing ₹1,530 as Minimal Assist Worth for regular paddy and ₹1,545 for A grade paddy per quintal.

“Many States are learning the functioning of Rythu Bharosa Kendras in Andhra Pradesh. The paddy procurement is being finished below the aegis of the RBKs,” Mr. Satyanarayana mentioned. 

Joint Collector J.V. Murali has mentioned that all the paddy crop being grown within the district was registered on the e-crop system. The crop registered on the e-crop system would solely be procured by the State authorities, he mentioned.
