Former Chief Minister and President of the Telugu Desam Party, N Chandrababu Naidu, recently penned an open letter to the Telugu community, expressing that he may be physically absent but remains in their hearts.

In this letter, which he handed over to his family during their visit to the Central Prison, Former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu conveyed his unwavering commitment to the people’s struggle to end what he referred to as a destructive government. He emphasized that, to him, the people were his extended family. While contemplating within the confines of his prison cell, Naidu reflected on his 45-year-long political career, which had been dedicated to the advancement and well-being of the Telugu people.

He expressed his belief that his incarceration was an attempt by the government to isolate him from the public due to the fear of his potential influence. However, he assured the people that his absence from their midst would not hinder his contributions to their progress. He pledged to remain a symbol of development and change.

Despite the challenges he faced, Naidu exuded confidence that he would regain his freedom in the near future and recommit himself with renewed vigor to the state’s development. He recalled an earlier promise to release a comprehensive manifesto by Dasara, but this plan was disrupted when he was imprisoned in Rajamahendravaram. In response, he urged his wife, Bhuvaneswari, who had seldom engaged in public life before, to step forward and champion the people’s cause. She agreed to do so under the banner of “Nijam Gelavali,” meaning truth should prevail, and to console the families affected by the shock of his unlawful arrest.

Chandrababu Naidu concluded his letter on an optimistic note, expressing his belief that good would ultimately triumph over evil. He extended his warm Vijaya Dashami greetings to the people, conveying his enduring commitment to their well-being and development.
