763. SHRI MASTHAN RAO BEEDA:
Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be happy to state:
(a) The main points of standards fastened for collection of cities underneath CGHS;
(b) The main points of CGHS Wellness Centres presently functioning in Andhra Pradesh;
(c) The main points of CGHS Wellness Centres which have been established within the State over the past three years;
(d) Whether or not Authorities proposes to determine CGHS Wellness Facilities within the Tier-2 cities of Andhra Pradesh; and
(e) If that’s the case, the small print thereof, and if not, the explanations therefor?

(a) to (e) As per extant norms, a minimal variety of 6000 Central Authorities serving staff residing in a metropolis is required for opening of a brand new CGHS Wellness Centre. Authorities considers opening of latest CGHS Wellness Centres as per extant norms, topic to availability of assets and creation of posts with the approval of Division of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance. There are six Wellness Centres in Andhra Pradesh, out of which, one was opened in 2017-18 at Visakhapatnam and 5 postal dispensaries at Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Guntur and Nellore, had been taken over in 2019-20. The Wellness Centres are established as per extant norms of CGHS.

(a) the entire variety of Central Authorities Well being Scheme (CGHS) hospitals and dispensaries in Andhra Pradesh;
(b) the explanations for the delay within the building of a brand new CGHS Hospital in Visakhapatnam;
(c) the sanctioned manpower energy in CGHS hospitals in Visakhapatnam and precise inposition energy and causes for shortfall;
(d) the anticipated date of building of CGHS hospitals in Visakhapatnam and pending points; and
(e) the explanations for not having a separate CGHS State Directorate in Andhra Pradesh in Visakhapatnam?

(a) to (e) There are six CGHS Wellness Centres in Andhra Pradesh. Beneath the scheme, solely OPD amenities are offered to the beneficiaries by Wellness Centres. They could avail IPD/ Hospitalization remedy amenities both by Central/State Authorities Hospitals, or by Personal Hospitals empanelled underneath CGHS. Further Director, Hyderabad takes care of CGHS centres in Visakhapatnam.
