‘Arrest Sunny Leone’ Trending On Twitter, Even After The Music Company Agreed To Change The Lyrics Of ‘Madhuban’ Song

Cultural organisations and political parties are criticising actress Sunny Leone. Sunny Leone's most recent music video has sparked debate.

These organisations have urged that Sunny Leone remove her song from YouTube as soon as possible because it offends Hindu sentiments. Priests in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, have urged a ban on Sunny Leone's video song. Narottam Mishra, the Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh, has now joined the chorus. Sunny Leone has been given three days to remove the footage.

Sunny Leone made an appearance in the "Madhuban Mein Radhika" remix song video. She wore a sultry outfit while grooving to this tune. The original classical song is from the Bollywood film 'Kohinoor,' which was released in 1960.

It's been transformed into a modern dance piece by Sunny Leone and music director Saqib Toshi. UP HM Mishra warned to take legal action If the video is not taken down within three days.

Meanwhile, following the escalation of the situation, the music label has published a statement addressing the situation, stating that the lyrics and name of the song 'Madhuban' will be changed. 'In light of recent comments and honouring the views of our fellow countrymen, we will be modifying the lyrics and the name of the song Madhuban,' the music company said in a statement. Over the following three days, the new song will replace the old one on all platforms.

A part of the public is furious at 'Madhuban' because it offends religious values. 'Arrest Sunny Leone' became a trending topic on Twitter on Monday. Many people have voiced displeasure with the video's lyrics and theme.

Sunny Leone, meanwhile, took to social media to promote the premiere of another music video, 'Machhli,' directed and choreographed by Adil Shaikh. 'Machhli,' written by Raahi and composed by Karan Lakhan and Oye Kunaal, features Pawni Pandey and Shahid Mallya.
