0ADILABAD: Round 30 farmers from Lingapuram village of Andhra Pradesh staged a protest on Monday in entrance of the home of a cotton dealer in Adilabad city, alleging that he neither paid them curiosity nor refunded Rs 6 crore they loaned him.

The farmers mentioned that that they had acquired the cash from the AP authorities as compensation for giving up their agriculture lands in Amaravati space for the development of the State capital metropolis. That they had lent the cash to the cotton dealer in February 2021, claimed the farmers who included S Ashok Kumar, N Nagarjuna, Lilly, S Satyanarayanna and others.

Claiming that that they had transferred the quantity to the account of the cotton dealer, recognized as Sachin, the farmers claimed that he promised to refund their cash in December.  They mentioned that they’d proceed the protest till the dealer refunded their cash with curiosity.
