The Andhra Pradesh High Court gave N Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of TDP (Telugu Desam Party), temporary permission to leave jail for four weeks in the AP Skill Development Corporation case.

He got the bail because of health issues. His lawyers said he needs to have an eye operation for cataracts.

The court set the date for a proper bail hearing on November 10.

N Chandrababu Naidu is currently in Rajamahendravarama prison for supposedly mishandling money from the Skill Development Corporation, causing a supposed loss of more than Rs 300 crore to the state’s funds. He got arrested on September 9.

The court stated that Naidu has to go back to the prison by November 28.
