AP Govt’s plan to promote Amaravati lands opposed






The farmers of Amaravati villages on Wednesday strongly opposed the state authorities’s transfer to promote lands from the capital villages. They termed the federal government’s plan as contempt of courtroom and threatened to sue the federal government within the courtroom. The difficulty over Amaravati remains to be pending within the Supreme Courtroom, they stated and questioned how the federal government would promote the lands.

The state authorities had proposed to promote 10 acres of land at Navuluru village and 4 acres at Pichukalapalem village. Nonetheless, the federal government didn’t point out why it had proposed to promote the lands.

The farmers stated that the lands had been taken from them by the federal government promising to construct a capital metropolis on the lands. The farmers held a protest at Mandadam village in opposition to the federal government’s proposal. They demanded that the federal government develop the lands as agreed earlier and have capital within the villages.
