Ajay Kallam’s Statement in Viveka’s Murder Case Raises Doubts

Ajay Kallam Petition Raised Many Doubts!

Ajay Kallam, a former IAS officer and former Chief Secretary to the Andhra Pradesh government, has recently been in the spotlight due to his involvement in the Viveka’s murder case. After his retirement, he was appointed as an Advisor to the current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan. However, his statement to the CBI has come under scrutiny, leading to doubts and controversies surrounding the case.

According to reports, on April 29, 2023, Ajay Kallam provided a statement to the CBI regarding the Viveka’s murder case. In his statement, he mentioned specific details, including the timing of certain events. However, on May 17th, the CBI questioned him again, and he claimed that his previous statement was only a casual conversation and did not include the timing of his meeting with Jagan at Lotus Pond on March 15, 2019. He further accused a section of the media of spreading false information.

On July 22nd, the CBI released Ajay Kallam’s statement in their charge sheet, and to everyone’s surprise, it matched the one reported by the Telugu daily on May 17th. The consistency between these statements has raised suspicions among the public and fueled questions about the authenticity of the CBI’s investigation.

Amidst the ongoing controversy, Ajay Kallam has taken legal action and filed a petition in the Telangana High Court to quash his statement with the CBI. He has alleged that the CBI manipulated his statement and unnecessarily involved other individuals in the case. This petition has further intensified the debate surrounding the case and has led to discussions about the importance of verifying statements thoroughly to prevent discrepancies and confusion in high-profile cases.

The inconsistencies and changes in Ajay Kallam’s statement have raised legitimate doubts among the general public. People are questioning the credibility of the investigation process and demanding transparency in handling such sensitive cases. It is crucial for all statements to be verified diligently and cross-checked before they are signed, especially in cases of such significance.
