The State authorities has prolonged the SC & ST sub-plan for a interval of 10 years by issuing an ordinance on Sunday, only a day earlier than the present one lapses on Monday (January 23).

The Secretary of the Regulation Division notified the ordinance – Andhra Pradesh Scheduled Castes Sub-Plan and Tribal Sub-Plan (Planning, Allocation and Utilisation of Monetary Sources) (Modification) Ordinance, 2023 – by means of G.O. Ms. No.7 dated January 22.
