2 held for dumping mother-daughter duo over property dispute

Srikakulam (Andhra Pradesh) [India], November 9 (ANI): The Andhra Pradesh police have booked two males for allegedly dumping mud on a mother-daughter duo who have been making an attempt to stage a sit-in protest over a property dispute in a village in Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam.
Sub Inspector of Mandasa police, Ravi Kumar, mentioned that the police have booked and arrested the tractor driver Prakasa Rao, and a relative of the sufferer ladies Rama Rao, below part 307 (try and homicide) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
The police have recognized the mother-daughter duo as Kotra Dalamma (70) and Majji Savitri (round 40) who have been preventing for his or her land in Haripuram for the previous few years. In search of justice from the federal government officers, the duo has alleged Kotra Rama Rao (Savitri’s cousin), Ananda Rao and Prakash Rao of the identical village for encroaching on the land.

The police talked about that Dalamma and Savitri have been making an attempt to stage in protest on Monday because the latter’s cousin Kotra Rama Rao had begun development on a vacant land whose possession was below dispute and the ladies have been making an attempt to hinder the tractor by pouring mud on the location. It was right now when Rao allegedly instructed the tractor’s driver to dump mud on these two ladies on account of which they obtained partially buried below the crimson gravel.
Notably, each events registered varied circumstances towards one another after the land was distributed amongst Dalamma’s deceased husband and his siblings.
Nonetheless, the 2 ladies are reportedly making an attempt to say their inheritance from their kin.
