Kamal Haasan, who recently celebrated his 67th birthday, has revealed that he had been hospitalised as a precaution. Kamal Haasan announced on Twitter today, November 22nd, that he has tested positive with Covid-19. 

Upon his return from the United States, he had a cough, according to him, for which he sought medical attention. The actor urged people to be cautious and safe, noting that the pandemic was still present. He  had a small cough after returning from the US vacation, he stated on Twitter in Tamil. He added  that he is in the hospital, on his own. Understand that the epidemic is far from ending, and requested everyone should be vigilant. 

Currently, Kamal Haasan is filming Vikram, a Tamil action drama. Kamal Haasan and Lokesh Kanagaraj work together for the first time in this film. Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil also star as villains in the much-anticipated flick. 

 Kamal Haasan is expected to play an agent, according to reports. In addition to Vikram, Kamal Haasan will star alongside Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh in Shankar's epic opus Indian 2.
