"Chiru Sir, Venky sir and Balayya Babu are stalwarts of Telugu film industry. Tarak Bhai and Prabhas Anna are superstars of the new generation. I'm their next generation actor, who is almost a kid (Nenu just bachhagadni). Getting nomination itself is like getting an award" says Vijay Devarkonda, who is pretty excited about the Filmfare nomination.

The nominations for 'Best Actor' at 65th Filmfare Awards (Telugu) saw a huge combination this year. With Megastar Chiranjeevi (Khaidi No 150), Balakrishna (Gautamiputra Satakarni), Prabhas (Baahubali 2: The Conclusion), Jr NTR (Jai Lava Kusa) and Vijay Devarakonda (Arjun Reddy) finding a place in the final list of nominations

Reacting on this, Vijay further added, "It's like getting an invitation to the Big Boys table". Calling his fans as Rowdies, the actor asked his fans to go to a fan site that is started by him and register there in order to go to Filmfare awards along with him. "As I go to Filmfare awards anyway, I thought like I will take one of you with me to the event"

Seems like Vijay is pretty excited to be among that big league of actors in the nominations. Truly, it's his terrific acting that made him reach there, but he needs to score blockbusters consistently to cement his position as a star.
