Here is the first look of 'Thalapathy' Vijay from his upcoming Tamil film 'Sarkar'. Vijay looks stylish and stunning in the new look. He is seen lightening his cigarette in this first look which indicates that the film is going to see him in ultra stylish way. His shades, beard all convey his style statement.

Directed by AR Murugudoss after their previous collaboration Thupaki turned out to be hit, the combo of Murugudoss and Vijay is raising the expectations. However, Murugudoss' last outing in Telugu Spyder bombed in both Telugu and Tamil.

Meanwhile, Vijay's last film Adhirindi (originally Mersal) did well in both Tamil and Telugu markets, all thanks to the controversy surrounding the GST. Whereas, Vijay's previous films Agent Bhairava (Bairavaa) and Police (Theri) haven't done well at the ticket windows. Especially, both Bhairava and Police were duds in Telugu whereas they got openings in Tamil due to Vijay's stardom.

Let's see whether Sarkar would be a comeback for Murugudoss or not. For a star like Vijay, it would be another high-budget film in Tamil. But in Telugu, it will be crucial film for Vijay considering that he has been eyeing to make a mark. While Thuppaki and Adhirindi helped a bit, Vijay is still yet to crack the Telugu market in a big way like his peers who have good market in Telugu.
