The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) asked people to stay indoors for the next three days as rains are expected to lash the city for two more days with the incessant rains in Hyderabad. A three-day warning was given to the state by the Indian Meteorological Department ( IMD) following a depression in the western Bay of Bengal. The depression will intensify in the next 12 hours, according to IMD, and move west-northwest, crossing Narsapur, Visakhapatnam and Kakinada. About 1,500 colonies witnessed rainwater up to the waist-level after the downpour until 2 am on Wednesday. Although some individuals were evacuated and sent to safety, many others were stuck in the rainwater.
