Struggling Heroes

This week we are going to witness two films hitting cinemas, one happens to be Gopichand's Pantham which released today and other one is Sai Dharam Tej's Tej I Love U, which is releasing tomorrow. These two films are an acid test for the heroes due to which their distributors are standing on their toes.

Theatrical rights of Gopichand's Pantham Telugu version are sold for around 15+ crores including all the territories. This is pretty less compared to his previous film Gowtham Nanda which got sold for 21+ crores. But then, that film collected only 10+ crore shares in the final run after being termed as a below average movie. So to recover 15+ crores for Pantham, Gopichand has to score a hit at any cost.

Even Sai Dharam Tej's market also took a denting owing to his continuous flops at box office. His previous film Inttelligent did 27+ crores business when it comes to theatrical rights and collected only 3 crores from the box office. And now, Tej I Love You got sold for 15+ crores, and the film should get a super positive talk on the first day to make sure that it will recover the invested money.

Going by the figures, we could say that Gopi and Tej should impress audiences more even though if they fail to delight critics. If audiences are impressed, then the films will get good collections leaving alone the reviews.
