Indian Women Cricket team returned home after marking an achievement in T20 Worldcup, by reaching finals for the first time though they lost it to Australia by 85 runs in the finals. The team won many hearts and garnered huge applause from cricket fans across the country.

But, when the team returned home, there was none from BCCI to give them a heroes' welcome at the airport nor were any fans to give them a great welcome. The pictures of cricketers at an empty airport have gone viral and the netizens started trolling and ridiculing BCCI for ignoring the team that achieved something great for the first time.

The faces of the team at the airport clearly show their disappointment for not getting the welcome they deserved. Cricketer JP Sinha tweeted the same questioning BCCI for their negligence in welcoming our home team. She felt the disappointment on the players' faces is much greater today than the defeat in the finals.
