Just two days after a film's announcement, it is natural to see some rumours sprouting up about the heroine. We have this "Jersey" of Nani, and there is a buzz that a senior star heroine is likely to lay hands on it along with the hero.

Spicy siren Shruti Haasan has almost taken a year break before signing any movie in Telugu. And then she has come up with Pawan's Katamarayudu but the result is terrible. Since then Shruti didn't sign any Telugu movie saying that she's not liking the ordinary girl-next-door and glamourous-songs kinds of roles. 

However, rumours have come out that Nani's cricket drama "Jersey" is likely to feature her return to the Telugu screen. Some went on saying that Shruti liked the story narrated by Gautham Tinnanuri and instantly agreed to be part of it. But sources close to the actress confirmed that this is untrue and Shruti hasn't signed any Telugu film, and particularly the 'Jersey'.

Currently, she's working on a film with John Abraham and couple of other films are also in the pipeline. Her film Sabash Naidu with father Kamal Haasan is kept on hold for unknown reasons
