Rajnikanth’s Wildlife Acts Get Highest TRPs Ever

In its entire history in India, Discovery Channel might have not amassed such huge numbers of TRP. As infotainment channels often don't enjoy a similar viewership in masses like how entertainment channels do,  they get very fewer TRPs even for hit programs. But then, Rajnikanth happened to Discovery recently.

As we all know, superhit showrunner Bear Grylls has recently done his "Into the Wild" episode with none other than Superstar Rajni after doing that with PM Narendra Modi earlier. On March 23d, Into The Wild with Rajni got aired on Discovery Channel and its other networks including Discovery Telugu, Tamil and 12 other languages. We hear that the program fetched a stunning 12.4 million impressions cumulatively, thus taking Discovery's infotainment market share to 89% during that time.

Guess what, this is a record best for Discovery's Into The Wild itself as the latest impressions are 5 times are more than what that program actual gets every week. Especially in Tamilnadu circuits, Discovery Tamil channel has outshined even regular entertainment channels like Colors Tamil, Jaya TV and Raj TV during that one hour.
