Rangasthalam girl Poojita Ponnada, who is seen in a short cameo in just-released Raj Tarun's Rajugadu, has disappointed with a short role and limited screen presence. People who expected to see her for more time were disappointed due to her small role.

After doing a small but decent role in Rangasthalam where she was seen as Aadhi Pinisetty's pair, many expected her to get due role in Rajugadu. But she was just seen as the ex of Rajugadu (Raj Tarun) who breaks up with him after knowing his kleptomania, a recurrent urge to steal, typically without regard for need or profit.

However, the main female lead Amyra Dastur shows up decent performance, stealing the show. The comedy has worked here and there in the film which is a time-pass and largely a light-hearted film. But too many sub-plots and unwanted comedy have hampered the film's prospects in the second-half.
