PARD cricket event held to encourage rural sports activities individuals in AP


At a cricket event carried out by Para Affiliation For Rural Growth (PARD), the staff from Okay. Zaddavari Palem received the title whereas Dondapadu Village of Vinukonda Mandal emerged runners up. 

In an announcement on Thursday, P.V. Lakshmaiah, president of PARD, mentioned that to advertise sports activities and bodily actions within the rural areas of the State, the event was organised from January 13 to 18, at Okay. Zaddavaripalem in Nuzendla Mandal of Palnadu district.

The event was held as a part of the Sankranti pageant celebrations. PARD inspired 30 function groups from varied components of the State and supplied a money prize of ₹30,116 to the winners and ₹20,116 to the runners up. As well as, awarded a Man of the Collection for the very best staff. 

The event was geared toward offering a platform for native cricket gamers to showcase their expertise and hone their expertise.

Satish Savitri Sarella, former secretary of the ST Fee, Authorities of Andhra Pradesh, inaugurated the event. He highlighted the significance of creating sports activities infrastructure in rural areas in order that extra folks might entry it and profit from it. The event was carried out in accordance with the rules issued by Dr. Lakshmaiah & Affiliation and supervised by native village authorities.  

T. Narasimha, Member Growth & Welfare Board, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt of India; Vasantha Babu, RDO, Palnadu Dist; Ravi Shankar Reddy, SP, Palnadu Dist and others participated in these tournaments as visitors.
