Notices Sent For Actors In Sanju
Entire nation is waiting eagerly for the release of Sanju, biopic on Bollywood's controversial actor Sanjay Dutt. However ahead of its release, the film landed in various controversies.
It is heard that few days back, Censor Board officials refused to clear the film for release as they felt that makers gave clean chit to Sanjay Dutt in various cases. Director Raj Kumar Hirani finally managed to convince the members that he did not give clean chit to Sanjay Dutt and the members passed film with U/A certificate. In between they even questioned Hirani, why it is called a biopic when he excluded many important persons in Sanjay Dutt's life.
Now the film landed in another controversy when advocate Gaurav Gulati complained against the film with the National Commission For Women (NCW) on using derogatory remarks against women and sex workers. Commission has sent notices to actors Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and director Rajkumar Hirani for using “cheap dialogues” against women and sex workers.
Advocate Gulati accused makers that in the name of bigamy, Bollywood celebrities are mocking the under privileged sex workers. He said that the trailer had many derogatory and outrageous dialogues between Ranbir kapoor and Anuskha Sharma. There was a scene in the trailer where Anushka asks Ranbir on how many women he slept with and Ranbir answers more than 300 women including sex workers.
