Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam can be performed on December 27, 2022

TIRUMALA: In view of the Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam (purification ceremony of sanctum sanctorum), the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams (TTD) has banned the VIP break darshan on December 27 and the devasthanam wouldn’t settle for the advice letters on December 26, 2022.

The TTD would conduct Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam of the temple on December 27, 2022 from 6 am to 12 midday. Accordingly, the TTD wouldn’t settle for the advice letters for darshan on December 26, 2022.

Koil Tirumanjanam is purification ceremony of sanctum sanctorum and temple premises by devotees. Through the ceremony all of the deities and different articles are faraway from sanctum sanctorum and cleansed whereas the “Mula Virat” is roofed with a water- proof overlaying.
