After facing hurdles in his cricketing career, Sreesanth gave a shot in acting as well. Until now, the Kerala pacer acted in a few movies and participated in a few television shows as well. He is now prepping up to start his new Hindi film Patta, which is being written and directed by R Radhakrishnan.
As per the latest report of The Times of India, it is learned that Sunny Leone will play a pivotal role in the movie. Touted to be an investigative political thriller, the shooting of this movie will begin soon.
Speaking to The Times of India, Radhakrishnan said, “Sreesanth is playing a CBI officer in the film and his investigation will lead to a subject that interests women. We felt those portions should be presented through a powerful female character. We wanted to rope in an internationally renowned artiste for the same, and felt Sunny Leone would be apt for the role.”
He further added that Sunny is playing the role called Anjali in the movie. Apparently, it is a different and risky role from whatever she has done until now.
Thus, the makers were skeptical whether she would accept it or not. But after hearing the story, Sunny gave her nod immediately.
Patta also features Gujarati actor Bimal Trivedi in a key character. More details of it will be out soon.
