Category: National News

The cops carried out raids in a spice making factory on the basis of the information received and are shocked to know that the producers use fake ingredients to adulterate the spices. Reports claimed that the cops seized the factory and factory owner after finding that ingredients such as donkey dung, acids, and hay were used by manufacturers (bhusa). In a factory located in the Navipur area of Hathras, the cops carried out raids and found that species were being adulterated with the use of donkey dung, inedible colours, and acids. It is believed that the Hathras police have discovered that by using donkey dung, inedible colours, acids, spices such as red chilli powder, coriander powder, spice mix, and turmeric were adulterated.

The cops sent the spice samples for testing after seizing the fake spices, and factory owner Anoop Varshney was arrested and sent to judicial custody. Cases will be submitted on the basis of the laboratory test reports on the culprit.
