In a tragic incident, 18-year-old girl jumped from 10-floor building in Abids. She died on the spot. The victim is identified as Jasleen Kaur from Kachiguda. Deeply upset with the NEET results where she failed to clear, Jasleen said to had taken the extreme step. The CCTV footage saw Jasleen jumping off from the 10th floor of Mayuri Complex in Abids.

The CCTV footage spotted Jasleen reaching the top of the building by taking steps. The video of the girl jumping off the building top was recorded by the eye-witnesses who shouted loud but in vain. Jasleen didn't heed to their requests and jumped off while many were watching the horrific incident with shock.

Jasleen's body was taken to Osmania General Hospital.

Meanwhile, couple of similar incidents were also reported elsewhere. A labourer's daughter Pradeepa (17) killed herself by consuming poison in Tamil Nadu for failing to make the cut in the NEET,  whereas 19-yr-old NEET aspirant in Delhi jumped off 8th floor in Dwaraka. 

According to some reports, Pradeepa had appeared for the exam last year also and had cleared it, but did not join as she could not afford the private medical college fees. The suicides of bright students over not making cut in NEET turning out to be heartrending.
