Models In Kochi Died After Drinking A Soft Drink Laced With Drugs At A Party.

According to an anonymous message obtained by the authorities, the beverages consumed at the party at the No. 18 hotel by the models who perished in the vehicle crash on November 1 were allegedly tainted. Investigators were unable to obtain blood samples from the deceased models, Ansi Kabeer and Anjana Shajan, so little progress is likely in this direction.

The authorities needed to locate the missing CCTV visuals from the "No 18" hotel, where the party was held, to authenticate the message, which claimed that the models were duped into consuming drugs.

Ansi Kabeer and Roy Vayalat, the hotel's owner, have known each other for a long time, according to the investigators. According to the authorities, Roy and Ansi's mother were both alumni of the same Kochi college. Ansi and her friends attended the DJ party at Roy's hotel because of their friendship with Roy.

Saiju Thankachan, who allegedly organised drug parties at the hotel, was among those present at the DJ party attended by the models, according to the police.

The police remand report states, "His involvement proved deadly for the models." According to the report, after the DJ party, Saiju invited Ansi and Anjana to a private drug party. They, on the other hand, declined to go to the drug party. According to the police complaint, Muhammed Ashik and Abdul Rahman, who were accompanying the two models, were then purposefully supplied excessive amounts of liquor.

According to the most recent anonymous communication, the two models were also handed soft drinks laced with drugs.

"The fact that Roy and his crew were given bail within 24 hours of their detention is a major setback for the police investigation. The police had missed an opportunity to apprehend the hotel owner and his personnel and recover the hotel's CCTV footage, which had gone missing "a police officer stated.

Legal experts say that in most cases, the court will not issue bail to an offender whose custody is requested by the police.
