Sindhu Reddy’s corpse, who was known to be pregnant and missing, was located by expert swimmers in the river Tungabhadra near Kurnool railway gate in Kurnool district on Monday. Sindhu Reddy got washed away in a rivulet in spate in Jogulamba Gadwal district three days ago, when her car got swept away in floods in Kalugotla village. Her husband and the car driver managed to escape from the car.

Sindhu Reddy got swept away and drowned, after a botched attempt to avoid being stamped for quarantine for two weeks after crossing the border from Andhra Pradesh. The body was being handed over to the relatives.
