IPhone 13 And Mini Give Tough Competition To Digital Cameras

The recent Apple event that was held virtually just like the previous event is all about better cameras and upgraded display. These features were complemented by batteries that come with a bigger capacity.

Keeping in simple words, everything that comes with the new phone is refined, be it the display, camera, brightness, and color reproduction. While the new phones were equipped with the OLED display, supported by super retina XDR technology, Dolby Vision, HLG were also added to the new models.

iPhone 13 models are equipped with two back cameras. The technology in the devices enables it to capture pictures and videos in low light, thanks to the ultrawide sensor that comes with an aperture of f/2.4. Apple had taken the quality offered in the video to the next level.

Cameras that offer cinematic experience in video mode were included in iPhone 13 models. With the camera, videos can be recorded at 4K at 60 frames per second. As a big upgrade, the focus on the object will be changed automatically once the cinematic mode is selected while recording the videos. The cinematic mode comes in the front camera as well.

Coming to the chipsets in the iPhone 13 models, the makers equipped the devices with an A15 Bionic chipset that comes with high-efficiency cores making it the fastest CPU in smartphones. The new phones come with IOS 15.

As cheer-worthy news to iPhone fans, the tech giant brought the new series with 128 GB storage. Prices for iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 128 GB were fixed at $699 and $799 respectively. However, the list of prices for the storage at a higher level is awaited.

There has been a debate going on saying that smartphones will replace the existing digital cameras. A few smartphones offer better pictures and videos and the leading global companies like iPhone making new upgrades to the camera supports the debate. With the camera supporting cinematic videos, we might see the photographers who cover weddings shooting the events with brand new iPhones in the future.
