The demon appears to be back. Yeah, recent developments in the country are raising doubts that the severity of the spread of COVID has again increased. Name it "Second Wave" or "Third Wave," but this time it may reach humanity even harder. The Lockdown-5 is still active, but people have long gone back into full unlock mode. Ever since people took to the roads in breach of the laws, the number of cases has been growing again. In states like Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh, the number of cases is rising. The fears are thus raised that there will be another Lockdown in progress.

There have been 45,000 new cases of coronavirus recorded in the country in the last 24 hours. In Delhi, for five days in a row, 6,000 cases have been reported. 5500 thousand new cases were also reported in Maharashtra and Kerala. In West Bengal, about 4,000 cases have been reported. In each state, thousands of new cases are being recorded. On Wednesday, about 450 people were killed in the country in a single day. In Punjab, in view of the severity of the incidents, a night curfew was also enforced. Sanctions will take effect on the 1st of December. The government of Maharashtra is heading towards a curfew, too. Litigation of public interest has also exploded in the court over the comment made by Chief Minister Uttam Thackeray that he will lock down if someone violates the rules without caring about the guidelines. It seems that before anything goes out of hand, the government may incline towards another lockdown. On the other hand, it would be hard for people who have grown used to normalcy to cope with another lockdown.
