Actress Shilpa Shetty and her businessman husband Raj Kundra are facing yet another significant setback. The pair has been charged in a Rs 1.51 crore cheating case, and a FIR has been filed at Mumbai Police Bandra Police Station against them and fraud Fashion TV MD Kashiff Khan for cheating and violation of contract by Pune teenager Yash Barai. 

The FIR was filed under multiple sections and pertains to an alleged incident that occurred in July of 2014. Kashiff Khan, along with Mr. and Mrs. Kundra, allegedly approached the complainant and persuaded him to invest money in a fitness plan, promising him a profit. However, nothing of the such occurred, and when pressed, he claimed he had been intimidated. 

Shilpa and Raj, on the other hand, have been silent on the subject and have yet to comment on the situation. Shilpa Shetty and her mother Sunanda Shetty were named in a fraud case in Uttar Pradesh a few months ago, as we previously reported. They were also interrogated by Lucknow cops in connection with a wellness center-related fraud case. 

 After serving two months in prison, Raj Kundra was released on bail. He was sighted in Himachal Pradesh a few days ago with Shilpa Shetty on their way to a spiritual retreat.
