With back to back blockbusters, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is currently in his best form. The actor's next movie, Laxmii, was heading for a digital release and the trailer held the project's bars high. Laxmii will end up as one of the greatest disappointments in the career of Akshay Kumar. The film missed theatrical release due to the coronavirus. The comic episodes are totally forced and there is no sense in them. The background score, along with some top-class scores from Akshay Kumar and Sharad Kelkar, is the only saviour. In Bumbholle 's song, Akshay Kumar explodes and it is the best example that he thrives on signing such demanding roles.

Because of the pale plot, Kiara Advani has no space to perform along with the other lead actors. As a director down South, Raghava Lawrence may be successful, but Laxmii is totally an outdated attempt that lacks interesting narration and realistic entertainment. The noisy comic drama would definitely not appeal to the Bollywood audience. The horror episodes are not going to scare the crowd at all and the songs are well below average. Finally, Laxmmi is an attempt that should not have been made and gives a pause to the success streak of Akshay Kumar. A movie to be strictly missed.
